Principal's Message

Welcome! My name is Marian Hanley, Principal Teacher of Cahir
National School and I welcome you to our website. Here, I hope you find
all the relevant information about our school, our pupils and our school
community.

Cahir National School is a two-teacher school in the countryside between
Kenmare and Kilgarvan, Co.Kerry. We are blessed with a dedicated of
staff of teachers, SNAs and a part-time secretary.
As Principal Teacher of the school, it is my honour to look to the present
and future of the school and its pupils. Our pupils are bright, eager,
motivated and are learning in a multi-grade environment. We are
fortunate enough to have a fabulous building with large classrooms and a
hall.

I would like to thank all of the parents and wider school community for
welcoming me back to Kenmare and to Cahir. I am excited for the future
of Cahir National School.
